What eBook file formats do you offer?
All NineStar Press releases will be available in ePub format.
Once I’ve paid for my eBooks, how do I download them?
Once the purchase goes through, you will be redirected back to our site and your account page. Click on “View Downloads.” You will see a listing of all downloads available. Choose the book you would like to download.
Each format is allowed 10 downloads before it expires. The number remaining will show for each file type.
If you don’t have an account, you will receive an email with a download link.
How are the word counts determined?
Word counts listed in Book Info is rounded to the nearest hundred or thousand words. This number includes all front and back matter.
How are eBook prices set?
Our prices are dependent on book length. We want to make sure the reader gets their money’s worth while still being able to pay the author and run the business.
This is the breakdown of pricing:
up to 10k = short – .99
10k-25k = novelette – 2.99
25-50k = novella – 3.99
50-60k = novel – 4.99
60-75k = novel – 5.49
75-100k = super novel – 6.49
100k+ = super novel – 6.99
Will print books be available?
All books over 50k will be released in print. Due to the shipping times and costs, we do not sell print books on our site. They can be purchased at most major retailers.
How do I find information about a book?
Each page has a tab listing the following information:
Author – links to all books by that author
Series – links to all books in that series
Category – Romance, Lit/Genre Fiction
Genre – Contemporary, Science Fiction, Paranormal, etc.
Sex Content – N/A (no sex), Non-explicit (fade to black), explicit
Pairing – MM, FF, MMM, etc.
Orientation – Gay, Lesbian, Bi, Pan, etc.
Identity – Cis, Genderqueer, Trans
Warning – any content warnings beyond sex content
As well as the Release Date, ISBN, Cover Artist, and Word and Page counts
I found an error in one of your books. How do I report it?
While all of our books go through a four-step editing process, errors might still get through. If you find an error in one of our books, please send an email with the title of the book and the error to raevyn@ninestarpress.com, and we will get it fixed.

What are Reward Points?
Whenever you buy a book, you receive one point for every dollar you spend. The points are totaled during checkout. You can use them on any purchase once they are earned. Each point gives a ten cent discount on your purchase.
How do I use Reward Points?
When you go to your cart, you will be given the opportunity to use your reward points. There isn’t a minimum number of points needed to redeem them.
Why should I buy preorders from your site?
When you preorder on our site, you will receive the book FOUR days early. Preorders are posted on our site at least two weeks before they are posted on the other retail sites like Amazon, B&N, Kobo, etc.
When are preorders available?
We will generally make preorders available on our site up to eight weeks before the book releases. All other retailers will have it available three+ weeks before release.
Do you offer refunds?
We do not offer refunds for our books. However, if you receive a damaged file and you aren’t able to download an undamaged file, we will replace it for you. Please make your request via contact@ninestarpress.com.
