Raevyn
Raevyn
Raevyn is a lover of books…just about any type. She is also Hispanic, panromantic, asexual, and genderqueer, which gives her a different view of the world around her. Her life-long goals have been to make a modest living doing something with books, visit Machu Picchu, and most importantly, build social consciousness in herself and others.

Jaycee DeLorenzo
Jaycee DeLorenzo
Jaycee has, what she considers, the best job in the entire world. She works surrounded by her furbabies, with a laptop on her lap, her feet up on a recliner, listening to an audiobook while she creates art all day. She lives in Tucson, Arizona, and is a mother, wife, author, book, coffee and Diet Pepsi addict, and a proud-to-be homebody.

She’s been designing graphics for fun since 2001, and has worked in the publishing industry since 2011.

Barb is a semi-retired Pennsylvanian. Reading is her passion, and other than the works of a few long-time favorite mystery and action-adventure authors, she pretty much exclusively reads LGBTQIA+ literature and holds a special spot in her heart for MM and FF romance.

A blog-site reviewer and audiobook enthusiast, Barb loves words and enjoys the
challenge of finding the best adjective, adverb, noun, or verb to paint a picture readers will long remember.

When she’s not reading or editing, she also enjoys walking her little cockapoo, Dora.

Elizabeth C.
Elizabeth C.
Elizabeth Coldwell is a multi-published author and the former editor of the UK edition of Forum magazine, where she was responsible for publishing a number of now very well-known authors for the first time, as well as honing her own writing.

She lives in East London, is a season ticket holder at Rotherham United, and a keen cook. Her recipe for peanut butter brownies is available if you ask nicely…

Elizabetta
Elizabetta
I live in northern California, and I love to travel, sing, hike in the redwoods, and hang out with family. I’m a die-hard Giants fan. I’ve been known to yell choice language at the screen or car radio during a game.

One of my earliest childhood memories is of figuring out how to read, sounding out the word “Picnic” on an old movie poster. The word just sounded so cool and clicked in my mouth and conjured fun images. It’s why I love writing and editing— manipulating words to get them to do what we want. Word-nerd, that’s me; it’s been a life-long love affair.

I’m so happy to be part of the NineStar Press editing staff, helping to pass the passion on to others.

Kody
Kody lives in a small town in Alabama with her husband, their sons, and several special needs pets. She loves reading (romance, mystery, light novels, anything really…), coffee, D&D, peanut m&ms, YouTube let’s plays, coffee, silver and purple, sparkly things, cheese, coffee… She runs a website/blog and sometimes even remembers to update it. www.akakody.com
Sera
SeraCopy Editor
Sera Trevor has been a fan of gay romance from probably too early an age. (You know those buttons on certain websites that you have to click to verify you’re over eighteen? She would totally click them before she was eighteen. Please don’t tell her parents.)

She lives in California with her laptop, Kindle, and several hundred books. Also, she has some kids and a husband.

Al
AlCopy Editor
Al Ross is an editor and proofreader from beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia who jumped into story-telling early as a teenage Dungeon Master and never looked back. With a passion for story-telling that focuses on complex queer characters and highlights diverse life experiences, Al is a voracious reader and is constantly learning about the way writers use language to convey their work. When not editing, or writing for animated television, you can find Al at home weaving, listening to podcasts, playing video games or watching reality TV.
Stephanie
StephanieProofreader
Stephanie Hoyt lives in south Texas with her husband, two daughters, and two dogs. She’s an author who lives and dies by chaotic bisexuals and happily-ever-afters, and a reader always in the mood for queer love stories. In her spare time she enjoys watching hockey, losing to her daughter in Gigamons, and mindlessly scrolling Twitter.
JP
JPProofreader
J.P. is an author of Dark Urban Fantasy, Queer Horror, and MM Paranormal Romance, but reads as much LGBTQ+ fiction as he can get his hands on. Recently retired and always looking for a good story, J.P. and his husband spend their winters in Puerto Vallarta and their summers nestled in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Jalisco, the chihuahua, and Gizmo, the Pomchi, are always around to help cast spells or cuddle up and listen to a grand tale or two. J.P. firmly believes that monsters are found under the bed and that ghosts truly don’t like salt. Demons, though, love a good snuggle or a crispy birria taco.
Antonia
AntoniaCopy Editor
Antonia Aquilante is an author, copy editor, and a bit of a grammar nerd. Most often, she can be found with a book in her hand or a laptop open in front of her. When she isn’t absorbed in bookish things, she’s probably baking some sort of decadent treat, practicing her embroidery, or taking long walks. Though she does listen to audiobooks on the walks, so maybe that doesn’t count as not absorbed in bookish things…
Michelle
MichelleCopy Editor/Proofreader
Michelle has been writing LGBTQ+ stories for more than twenty years, mainly for her own amusement now. She also gets her thrills from reading (and editing) other people’s LGBTQ+ works, since she discovered she wasn’t alone in her love of the genre.

She lives in Ohio with her siblings and a menagerie of animals, but her life is run by a seven-pound tailless cat named Loki, who lives up to her name. Most time away from the written word is spent playing and streaming video games or watching true crime documentaries. There are stories in everything.

Alex
AlexCopy Editor/Proofreader
Alex Jay Lore (he/they) is a queer and trans author of science fiction and fantasy with LGBTQ+ protagonists. His debut science fiction novel, EMPIRE OF LIGHT, written as Alex Harrow, is out now from NineStar Press with books two and three forthcoming. He has contributed to various anthologies with both fiction and non-fiction. When not writing books full of queerness and explosions, Alex is a high school English teacher, waging epic battles against comma splices and misused apostrophes. Alex also works as a freelance editor and bookseller, making his childhood dream of working with books come true one page at a time.
